If you make a new page, you can "Copy Modules From" and also check the box "Copy Content?". The help to "Copy Content?" says: Select this option if you wish to copy the module content as well.

But that is not the whole truth! Becuase it does not actually copies the content to a new module, it just sets the refernece to the SAME module. Which menas, if you change it on on page, the changes also affect the other page.

It took me a while to find that problem. It's not really a bug, but definitly something you can misunderstand.
