I am not a techie, so be kind.  Can my portal be updated from 4.3.3 to 4.3.4 without blowing away everything I have built?  Is 4.3.4 more stable than 4.3.3. We have had numerous problems with 4.3.3 and are actually considering going back to DNN 3.  If there are any consultants out there who are interested in working with us to resolve these issues please reply to this post.

Thanks

Download the DotNetNuke 4.3.4 Upgrade, unzip and copy to the existing DNN folder.  Done this on 4 portals and no problem with the upgrade.

What issues do you enconter on your current portal?

I did this last night, albeit on a dev system - just overwrote the files and copied the web.config parts mentioned in the Install guide (READ THIS!)

4.3.4 is definitely more stable than 4.3.3, but I think 4.3.5 (another stablization release) is due in the next week or so - so if you can hold out then I would wait for this.

I would stick with 4.x unless you have show-stoppers - it's getting better with each stablization release and the core team are working on the issues.
