I am using several domains with dnn in multiportal-configuration. Now I want one domain to be forwarded to an other application in a different folder on the same server. This domain must not use dnn as portal.

How can I do this? create a new portal in dnn and then ...?

My dnn is installed in the rootfolder of the server.

Thanks

Volker

So you want to redirect www.somedomain.org to a different application?
Why not set this directly in IIS?
It seems a bit complicated to do this in DNN.

You could create a page that redirects to a different page or external URL, but the application needs to have a domain linked to it to be able to do this.

I think it's the same for subdomains

I cannot change IIS directly, so I have to use some script.

www.myfirstdomain.org = dnn
www.myseconddomain.org=  dnn/subfolder and in this subfolder should be a second application.

Any Ideas?

Ah so you want two domains on one hosting installation....
I think you should use domain forwarding through DNS.
(ask your provider or use the control panel of your hosting provider)
You can only use a script if the visitor gets directed to some file through DNS.
(the script has to be found first)
Then it's easier to send the visitor to the right folder / page right away.

Hope this helps...
