Hi,

I need to ability to record the first page a vistor came to on our site as sometimes their landing page may be different.

Lets assume vistor A lands on page mysite.com/1 and Visitor 2 lands on page mysite.com/2

I want to use that information later.

I could probably use javascript to save a cookie but is there a better way such as Session Variables.

I am not a .NET programmer so the solution has to easy

Thanks in advance for any help given.

Tony

If you have access to your IIS web logs then there are many free programs that will help ou get this information and more.

If you have your own server, you might even want to install the free edition of Smarter Stats.

Most ISP/Hosting plans also have web stats packages that will give you this information.

And last, but arguably the best, you can use Google Analytics.

Sorry, should have my self clearer.

When I meant record and use the info later I meant later in that session which is why I mentioned session variables.

Thanks

Tony
