Ok,  I can only assume that I need to replace some or all of the file associated with the file manager.  Could someone please confirm what I need to replace from this error message or is it something else.  Sorry for being such a newb with this question but this is all Greek to me.

Error: File Manager is currently unavailable.

There are several posts about this type of error, search for File Manager.

You probably have orphan folders or files in your DB. Check with Will Ballard's recent post on this for some history. Will has a link to Dave Buckner's site. Dave thinks that if the orphans were automatically deletedyou could end up with numerous dead links on your site.

Dave has a tool to identify file orphans. You need to register on his site davebuckner.com

Folder orphans are easy to find by comparing your DB _Folders table and your system folders in your Porta. Portal 0. if it's the main one.
