Help, my login button doesn't work anymore. About 3 weeks ago I upgraded to 3.3.4 and everthing seemed fine until this morning. Pressing the login button will give the follwing error on any user name or password:

A critical error has occurred.
Method not found: Int32 DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.UserController.AddDNNUser(DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.UserInfo).

The rest of the site seems fine. Why is it trying to add a user on login?

Any Ideas?

thanks,
Mark

I'm trying to upgrade an old client on 3.2.2 to 4.9.1.  The first step I'm at is upgrading to 3.3.3 and all upgrades fine.  But when I try to login I get this error.  I've redone the upgrade from backups several times with no luck.  I know this is OLD stuff, but does anyone have an idea what is doing this?  HELP please.  Thank you.

The first thing that I would check is to verify that the machinekey was moved correctly to the new web.config.

Yes, it is moved over.  I noticed that the validation types did not match and tried doing an upgrade with those in place.  Any other ideas?
