I just created a test module called test mod.  I created the database blah blah.  everything works find  but when I add the module to my page, it errors out on a stored proc that doesnt exist called getTestMods.   Isn't the installation of the module definitino supposed to create these stored procs?

Thanks for the help.

Check what your script did/didn't do, look in the database.  Did it do anything?  Did you hard-code with/without {databaseowner} and {objectqualifier)?

Are you working with the Starter Kit for VS 2005?  This makes development much easier.  The SQL  file(01.00.00.SqlDataProvider) that you need to add your db object creation scripts and data population scripts, and the manifest file ([your project].dnn) are both needed to install your module, if you are creating a module that uses a SQL server database.  This resource file is also important for the installation of resource files and the other associated files within your module.  The Professional DotNetNuke 4 book walks you through the process.  If you don't like buying books, the documentation files on the site are also a very good resource.
