hi...

i wanna ask is there any provision in dnn to define our own custom user groups besides the standard ones (unauthenticated, registered, etc) defined in dnn? i actually want to define user groups say for example user group A who have access to announcement module only, group B who have access to Announcement module as well as Events module etc.

Hi Saima,

I have a UserGroup module, but it is nothing to do with Permissions - it is like MySpace and YouTube groups - you create groups and invite friends (they can accept or decline) and then you can PM all group members (like MySpace) bulletins, or invite groups to events, but for me a UserGroup is a logical grouping of users...
