Hello

I have placed a javascript file into the js folder of my DNN 4.3.5. I expected to find a link from my Default.aspx which calls the javascript codes located in the js folder, I intended to copy elements of the link to call my own .js code.

But I am unable to find the 'call javascript' link in the Default.aspx.

Any suggestions how I can link to my js code.

Thanks

Lynn

My favorite method is to simply add an include into the skin being used.  For example:

<script src="/js/yourscript.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Hello cc24x7

Thanks for the reply, but I am hoping to insert a marquee text scroller, which requires most of the javascript to be inserted into the head section.

I was trying to create a link to the javascript file (in the js folder) via default.aspx, but as I said the js links to the folder are no longer located in the default.aspx file (well at least not in mine).

I was wondering how the core javascript is now called.

Thanks

Lynn

There are several good marquee modules available, which could be an easier solution for you...let me know if you'd like me to reply with links to some of them.

However, I have had to deal with the same problem you're describing and there was a nice module which allowed me to do it.  I don't remember which module I used, it was quite awhile ago, but this one looks like it would wor
