I am getting the following error when I try to upload a file via File Manager. If the file is new, I don't get the error. If the file already exists, I do get the error. I am using DNN 4.3.5

"An Error Has Occurred When Attempting To Save The File C:\XXX\XXX\XXX\www\Portals\0\yoursite.gif. Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server."

If you delete the existing file first, can you then upload the file of the same name?

Yes. If I delete it first I am able to upload it again without any problems. I noticed, however, that the file attributes for the files that are misbehaving are as follows: "ARHS". I have no idea how the attributes for some of the files is that way.

Thanks.

Well, I thought version 3.3.6 was resolving this issue. But I upgraded and now I cannot delete files using File Manager. I get this error.

Error Deleting File: Portal Root\\CliffHammock.jpg
Invalid File or Directory attributes value.

and if I try to upload a file with the same name I get an error. Also I cannot upload any files. I guess I need to check permissions again.

it lloks like an upgrade issue inserting double slashes. try to do a full sync, if this does not solve the issue, edit the paths manually in your database.
