First file manager was working perfectly with the older version.

Now, for some reason I can only see the files at the root level.

When I click on the Plus sign next to Portal root I get an Icon that spins endlessly without opening up the folders.

I have tried synchronize folder and I have looked at the standard and secure views.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi....

I had the same issue after performing the upgrade. 'Synchronize Folder' didn't do the trick, but once I clicked the little check-box beneath 'Recursive', everything was back to normal.

Hope it helps!

Will Ballard covers the issue well. His recent comment on this also puts a pointer to Dave Bucker's site. Dave has a rationale why the orphans are not autonatically deleted (could leave numerous dead links on your site).

I'm going thru the fix process. I've identified orphan folders and deleted them out of the DB. Now I have to do that to files. There are 1,000 +, so that won't be easy. Dave Buckner's tool will help in the future - but I can't install it with the problems.

I finally determined that the issue was a conflict with my snapsis skin.  When I use a standard skin the issue goes away.

The issue with fck also went away when I installed the latest version.
