I am changing the DNS for our DNN web site from www3.oursite.com to www.oursite.com.  The server and ip will remain the same.  I have 2 questions.

If I enter the new alias - is that all I need to get the site to show under www.oursite.com?

I don't have a pencil next to the www3.oursite.com on the portal page.  How do I get rid of that alias?  What happens if I can't remove it?

Thanks

You should only need to change the DNS, add a Portal Alias, and modify the IIS Host headers to get your result.

As for deleting the other alias, you can do that via the Database if you have access to the database.
