I have recently backed up my DNN database and moved it to another host. Afterwards the tech could not reset the main host password so he created a new one. I did not think much about it at the time, but since have had users from other portals say they could not login and had to re-register to gain access. I have tried to reset the passwords as well with no success, below is the error message I recieve, again this multiple portals and any user, admin, or host that will not allow to change the password and has seem to have started when I changed to the new host. I am using DNN 3.2.0. Has anyone had this problem.

"There was an error setting the password. The password has not been changed."

Thanks for any info,

Harry

additional notes, after doing some testing this only happens on user accounts setup before the backup and restore of the database. I can change passwords on new accounts setup after that happened.

Thanks, Harry
