New Community Website

Ordinarily, you'd be at the right spot, but we've recently launched a brand new community website... For the community, by the community.

Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Welcome to the DNN Community Forums, your preferred source of online community support for all things related to DNN.
In order to participate you must be a registered DNNizen

DNN4.3.5

If you require a valid profile on registration, the user must enter First Name and Last Name in the Preferred User Info section and then enter it again in the Name section.  This redundancy is confusing for a lot of my users.  I see how to remove the fields from the Name section, but that's where it makes the most sense to be.  Is there a way to remove these fields from the Preferred User Info section?  The only way I can see to do it is to edit the core page; I'm not too keen on that method.

I deleted the fullname property on my site - I have yet to experience any problems because of that. So, I would go ahead and delete it if I were you.
