Hello All,  My company recently set up a new site for our Members, and we have a couple of Forums that we created.  When a user goes in to pull up an attachment, it's saying "You do not have permission to view the requested file".  When we go into the site as an admin, we went to "Forum Administration", "General Settings", and "Post Attachments", and have checkmarked "Enable File Attachments".   We are able to download a file as an admin (I haven't tried as a regular user), but regular users are not able to download or open the attachments.  We have this in a couple different areas of the website.  As we look at the directions that came with the program, it says to go to the "file attachment folder", but we are not able to locate where that might be.  Any help on enabling the members to view attachments would be greatly appreciated.

The problem may have nothing to do with the Forums module. Go to Admin menu > File Manager and open the folder that the attachments are going into. Then look at the Permissions section at the bottom. Your Registered Users role needs to have View checked.

Thank You!  That was exactly the problem, and your directions fixed it.  I really appreciate the help!
