I try to setup latest 4.3.5 DotNetNuke on godaddy hosting.
I install it to root domain

my file system look like this

main domain under root (root.com)
then i create virtual folder (sample.com) located under root folder and point dns there.

Everything works fine,except Dotnetnuke.
When i type www.root.com i go to my main dotnetnuke site.
when i type www.sample.com it redirect me to root.com as
http://www.root.com/Default.aspx?alias=www.root.com/sample.com
i place subhost.aspx there from _Default folder.

Alias for sample.com set to www.root.com/sample.com

If i change alias to sample.com
It just redirect to root.com

What is right way to do it?

Thanks

If sample.com is a domain in your DNS, you must set it up as a parent portal. The DNN Portal alias should be simply "sample.com"
