Any idea why I am not able to login to a new install of 4.3.5? I've tried setting it up using a SQL 2000 db and then I tried on a SQL 2005 db on a different server. The app installs all the db tables and modules, and loads up just fine, but when I try to login with the default username and password (e.g. host | host), it says that my login failed. What gives?

make sure your are using host as the user id and 'dnnhost' as the password. It changed from previous version where it was host/host.

That's just dumb.

I have had some projects working in systems other than DNN for a while. I come back and in the new version someone has gone and changed the default password? Nice, guys. That one makes a lot of of sense. In all fairness, this is the first time that I've tried using DNN4, but hey. C'mon. Was there a reason to change it? And pleeeeeaase, don't tell me it was "for security reasons".

Same thing happened to me. Spent half a day installing/uninstalling DNN then I read the start up page when you install it. It looked the same as all the other installs start page, but then I noticed the password. I think the team slipped that in to make sure people were paying attention.
