I have been working on dnn and ASP for about 1 month now so be gentle

Searched this forum for "site log" and google for "site log" +paging +dnn/dotnetnuke but found nothing.

Using DNN 4.3.5, I am trying to get the site log to use paging, specifically the "detailed site log" although I assume it's a global change which isn't really a problem. Anyway I have tried hacking the UDT paging with the site log to get a result but all I get is errors and it's driving me loopy!

From what I have read over the last few weeks asp has a built in paging control but i can't figure out how to use it generically in DNN.

My client really needs a decent site log interface for their marketing department and they have spent literally 10s of 1000s developing this dnn site(not me, another develeoper) and they are getting a little frustrated so it's pretty urgent I find a solution.

Anyone have any ideas how this can be accomplished?

As an interim step you might want to look at Google Analytics http://www.google.com/analytics/ ... I just set it up for one of my portals yesterday ... you drop the script which Google provides into the default.aspx ... it's too early for me to vouch for their accuracy and flexibility, but so far it beats the DNN Site Log ... your clients marketing department might like it b/c it allows things like goals.

Thanks for reply Frogfire.

I had a feeling I might need to include a 3rd party stats prog.  One thing though will this actually track logged in users?  I have smarter stats installed which looks pretty similar to g@@gles but it doesn't track logged in users..

What I mean is something like:

user123 visited mycoolpage at 12:00pm on 12/10/06

user123 visited mycoolpage2 at 12:01pm on 12/10/06

Thanks again
