Hi there,
I currently have an existing DNN site connected to an sql database that I pay for seperately through my provider. I don't think I should pay for the extra database. I would like to just have a .mdf sql express database file added to my appdata. I have tried creating my site locally with a .mdf, then uploading my site. Of course, I also added the name of my site to portal aliases first. Unfortunately, i keep getting runtime errors, mainly the error that my database version doesnt match my assembly version. I've been trying to get this to work for some time now, doing whatever I could that I thought might make it work.
So My Question is:
How can I make dotnetnuke use the .mdf on my site instead of the costly sql database? Is it even possible? Are there any extra permissions that this folder or the .mdf might need?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance!
- Joel
