Hello,
I have purchased a module from a company called DNNMAsters called Multi Portl User Sharing which lets me share users across portals.  The idea is awesome and for the most part it works.  Except the problem is that there are a lot of little bugs in the module and I find that everytime I turn around something is going wrong with it.

Does anyone know of another Module that would allow me to share users across portals?

Thanks,
J

http://www.inventua.com have a shadow module.

However, I would like to tell you that it doesn't work on all modules - in fact any module that uses the *settings* area to manage it will render the shadow modules useless as you can't change the module settings.

I had a bit of a gripe with this when I was trying to use on another site.  But if you choose your modules well - then it works like a charm. I'm using it on http://www.ninasfreeskins.com

Give that a try.

Hi,
Thanks for the info.  I guess what I am really trying to do is to share the "Users" accross the portals.  I'd like someone to have access to several portals using the same login/password. Then I could assign sone as an admin on one portal but just a registered user on another portal, and then "not authorize them on yet another portal...  Point being they could log into ALL portals using their same login/pass, and I could just assign differnt prvledges to their username on different portals.

Thanks,
Jason
