I have a site which was on 4.0.3. We spawned a copy of that site and updated it to 4.3.5. The update went successfully with the exception of some strange behavior. Under 4.3.5 when I click on a file download link, or an image which would like to spawn a larger version of itself, it says I do not have permission to do so. This is under an Admin or Host login. Also, some modules no longer function even when they are reinstalled - such as Speerio File Manager Pro, Nt Forums, in addition to downloading files linked on the site.

I even tried deleting a Documents module which is with the default DNN install and adding it again, then adding the files I want to make available for download - the files add but it says I do not have the permissions to access the file.

What is it DNN could modify that would no longer give me permission in an upgrade that I had in the prior version?
