Hey All,

I'm pretty new to DNN and am building a site for a University prof to do a synopsis between different books. I went with DNN as it's pretty awesome and the site is all content. However, I'm trying to figure out how best to do things as my professor friend is not technical in anyway so ease of use is very important.

The articles to be posted will be normally 2 to 4 column tables comparing different text. On the home page I would like to list the most recent article with paging in the center pane. In the left pane I would like to keep list of the last five article postings with links. The only other page will be a listing of all the articles posted. Now to make this real easy for my user I would like to let him go in create his new article and the rest all happens automatically as in the last five articles get adjusted and the article list page. I'm looking for suggestions as I can't seem to find anything that handles the automatic piece; also I was hoping to use the user defined table module for the articles as it provides more of the formatting and functionality I'm looking for by letting my user easily add and remove rows on the fly. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions

Thanks

P.S. If anyone has a link to article on setting up and using the forum module I would love to get that information to.

Create your own solution with UserDefinedTable module. you can create multiple fields for the columns and use xml rendering for additional formatting. next version will allow to create shadows with filtering.

regarding the forums module you can download a user guide from the project's download page.
