How do I supress the DNN icon that appears in the address box for each page of my site, and on page tabs in IE7? What I want to do is get back to the default icon for the user's browser.

I have deleted favicon.ico from the wwwroot folder. I had red on another forum that simply deleting this file (and not replacing it with an icon of one's own) would restore the default. But that didn't work for me. I've deleted the file, but the icon still appears.

What am I missing? Thanks.

David, you won't see the changes till you flush the cache on your browser.  Deleting the dotnetnuke.ico and the favicon.ico should do the trick.

That did it. Thanks!
