Not sure if anyone has run across this problem or not, but when I send out a e-Newsletter using the newsletter function under the admin menu (DNN 3.2.2), none of the images that I've inserted into the newsletter from the portal gallery show up (no, they're not being stripped out by the email client)... anyone have any ideas what may be going wrong?  Any help is appreciated!

I think when you set up your newsletter to email to customers you have to reference the whole url to the image. Is this the way you are referencing it? Are your images not showing up at all or are they there (as a box with a red x) and not being displayed?

Thanks for the response... I'm inserting the image using the photo gallery button in the editor and when I click the HTML view then the entire url is there (when I cut and paste that url into my browser it brings back the picture).  When the message arrives in my mailbox, there is a red x and when I right-click it it show the url as http:///Portals/10/myPicture.jpg.  Any ideas?

This is the url when you right click it when you receive the newsletter: http:///Portals/10/myPicture.jpg ? You have an extra / . Shouldn't your url be: http://www.yourwebsite.com/Portals/10/myPicture.jpg? After you insert your image through the gallery does it have the www.yourwebsite.com in the url?

I think your HTML editor is stripping out the reference. It happened to me when I bought a newsletter opt-in module. When I tried to use it the default HTML stripped out the image refs so I couldn't use the module.

Maybe try the FCKeditor: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ProviderFCKeditor0153/tabid/934/Default.aspx
