I have started looking into the adding of existing modules using the core DNN functioality and have run into some issues that I was hoping someone could confirm.

Problem 1:
I have a page that contains a bunch of descriptions that are used through out the site. When i need to reference one I set the setting at the top of the admin page to "Add Existing Module" and add a reference to a module on my definitions page. This works fine the first time, but then if I do it again and nothing is referenced. This provlem only happens when the caching is set to moderate...if I turn caching off everything works as it is supposed to.

Problem 2:
How can I tell which modules reference other modules?

Problem 3:
Is there a way to copy and not reference another module?

thanks.

Problem 1: this issue is new to me, please log into the public issue tracker at support.dotnetnuke.com.

Problem 2: there is no such function in the UI (only by directly accessing database), please log as enhancement request into the public issue tracker

Problem 3: there is an option when creation a new page. Create a new page, copy the desired module (the module needs to support a specific interface to get the copy option activated) and afterwards move the module from inside its settings to the desired existing page.
