Hi All,

I have just installed version 4.4 of DNN sucessfully. The problem we encountered is creating a new Portal with host user account. I filled all details of Portal and when I press create portal I get this message

Error creating Portal

Any help would be highly appreciated,

Can someone please answer to this questions,

I have installed DNN 4.4 with a domain name of demo.dotnetweb.co.uk without any problem. I want to use this DNN installation and create another parent portal with different domain name like ebd.dotnetweb.co.uk but I get Error creating Portal

My initial domain for this installation was the webserver IP with a port nuumber associated to the website I created for it. The new portal I am tring to create is the same IP address with different port number. I created another website with different port number to look at same installation folder.

I would also like to know if I need to have a website for each portal? or I can have one website with different host header name and the host header name will be the porat alias name for the new parent portal??

I logged in as host and used Portals option under Host menu. I also tried to create child portal with no luck and same error mesage ,

Can someone please let me know what is this error why it can not create portal.
