I am working on a site (DNN 3.3.7) where I am trying to use a couple of modules that are "certified" to work on DNN 3.2x. On both of these modules (Slalom Feedback & TC_AdvancedLogin) I am receiving the following error when I submit:

System.MissingMethodException: ? and specific errors by mod - here is the TC_AdvancedLogin  error:

[MissingMethodException: ?]
   TC.AdvancedLogin.AdvancedLoginView.cmdLogin_Click(Object s, EventArgs e) +0
   System.Web.UI.WebControls.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) +108
   System.Web.UI.WebControls.Button.System.Web.UI.IPostBackEventHandler.RaisePostBackEvent(String eventArgument) +57
   System.Web.UI.Page.RaisePostBackEvent(IPostBackEventHandler sourceControl, String eventArgument) +18
   System.Web.UI.Page.RaisePostBackEvent(NameValueCollection postData) +138
   System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain() +1292

[PageLoadException: ?]
   DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessPageLoadException(Exception exc, String URL) +346
   DotNetNuke.Framework.PageBase.Page_Error(Object Source, EventArgs e) +363
   System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.OnError(EventArgs e) +109
   System.Web.UI.Page.HandleError(Exception e) +68
   System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain() +2100
   System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequest() +218
   System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) +18
   System.Web.CallHandlerExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication+IExecutionStep.Execute() +179
   System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +87

Was there some sort of watershed at the DNN 3.3 release that would be causing this error? I would like to inform the mod developers with some concrete info/advice, so I can use these mods (especially the TC_AdvancedLogin module since it's a commercial mod I've paid for...)

Please give me some guidance on how to proceed...

Thanks!

Eric

I would contact the developer of the module.  I know there were some changes in 3.x to the user profile / membership functionality, but I cannot tell you exactly what version it was off the top of my head.  I will search the blogs and if I find it I will post it here.  It is ultimately the module developers responsibility to support their module.  Maybe someone else using the module has had a similar problem and will post what they have found out.

Yes, DNN 3.3.0 is when all the changes happened to User Management.

I appreciate your efforts... only reason I am asking here is that I got the same error from 2 modules rated for 3.2, so I thought I could give the mod deveopers some quick-fix insight...

Thank you so much!

Eric
