I've been reviewing the profile properties and see a choice for "Lists" as data type. It is not immediately obviously how to specify the list values. Does this work with the host lists? If so, how to specify which one. I see Country and Region are in the list of data types but can't tell how to create a list of my own and use it as a profile property.

Thanks.

When you choose a list type, give it a name. Then go to the HOSTS lists and you'll see the newly created list for you to add items to.

That is how I thought it might work. However, it did not. Let me be explicite about the steps. (I've done this both as the  portal admin and as host)

1) Select Users from the admin control panel
2) Select Manage Profile Properties at the bottom
3) Select Add New Profile Property
4) Fill in the required fields on the form. Select "Lists" for data type.
5) Select Update
6) Begin searching around for where in the heck to add the values, including logging on as host (if nec.) and looking for a list with the name I created, which there is not.

Hmmm, I'm not sure, I just managed a profile property just the other day exactly like that.

You have to create your List in the Host > Lists using the same name.
