We are moving one of our sites to a new server and are trying to provide some redundancy in the event of a failure as well as load balancing. The load balancing is not the primary concern initially, but the redundancy in the event of a failure is important. We are looking at setting up 2 web servers in a round robin fashion that is a coin toss from the router as to which one will get the next request. We are sharing a single mssql database on the backside of the two web servers. We want to be able to keep both the webservers synced up with user and module files etc. that are stored in the portal directory and or modules directory. Does anyone have any practical experience or advise on the best way to set this up? or what software is ideal for managing our little web farm and keeping things synced up between the servers?

Thanks for your help. I was surprised to find very little on this topic googling and I'm sure others are dealing with it as well. Apart from the webfarm document in the DNN docs there isn't much out there.

Thanks
