I updated my site from 4.0 something-or-other to 4.4 and now I am having all kinds of trouble.

If I go into host settings and try to change any of the setings, the page simply errors out telling me that the host settings page can not be found.
Here is another one, try to un-check the Friendly URLs. All the drop down lists on the page go blank and I can't do a damn thing.

I hate to sound rude but does this software get tested at all? Every version I try that is suposed to fix an older version creates more problems.

Here's another good one, now when you go into a module to edit the text, click the update link and everything gets deleted!

The forums are a whole nother story of problems that I dont want to get into now.

Please for the love of what ever you believe in, fix this software or post a link to a replacement software that you would recomend.

Thank you for your time.

Will

Will,

there have been thousands of upgrades w/o the issues you describe, so we need more information about what happend. Check the /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider directory for any log file from the upgrade and post the contents.

please report as well any 3rd party modules/components you use and specific settings you have made.

Cheers from Germany,
