Hi all,

Does anyone know how I can change the default dnn icon (the one that displays on the left side of the address bar of the web browser, and on the left side of the tab).  I would like to change this to a client's logo.

Thanks.

this is called a Favicon. To replace it you need a 16x16 pixel icon, rename it to favicon.ico and place it in the root of your portal file directory (e.g. "/portals/0/favicon.ico").

Hi,

I can't get the faviocon.ico I created, in ie7, is this a known problem or do I have to delete the cache of my browser?

regards Bas

just some more information:

dnn version: 4.4.1; iconname: favicon.ico (created with som generator on the web) works if put in dnn root folder but not when put in portal root folder e.g. www.domain.com/portals/3/

tried with ie6 and 7 and FireFox 2.0

regards Bas
