Juts had a phone call that one of the designers has uploaded a new skin to a portal, and then the site doesnt work any more.

Am I safe removing the skin - will it default to the _default skin, or is there anythign else I need to do to reset the skin?

Cheers

Sb

just uploading a skin will not set the skin anywhere, so if just uploading caused a site to break, something else is going on. Probably though, your designer meant by "upload": "uploaded and selected to use the skin somewhere on the portal). If the latter is indeed the case, then physically deleting the skin will revert the site to the dnn fallback skin (which is dnn_blue).

Ive no idea what the error was, I just deleted the zip and the extracted files, and it was all back to normal
