Has anyone managed to find a fix or workaround for the disappearing top/bottom borders on the Solpartmenu, or a way to add borders to the top level of the navigation? I tried using a 1-pixel background image instead of a border definition but that didn't work at all.

What I have so far is this:

I believe the latest menu 1.7.x includes the abiity to not have solpart overrule your css specified borders.  If you could post your url for me, I could investigate further.  In order to not have solpart hardcode borders you need to make sure you don't specify a selected border color.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for your help - I've emailed you directly with the site's URL - don't think my clients would be too happy with me posting it 'in the wild' as it's still under development.
