Hi Guys

I am having a bit of trouble designing skins in DNN. Before i create a DNN skin I create a html skin that works fine with the CSS.

What I do not understand is why the default.css still gets injected into the page. It keeps on taking presidence over my skin.css.

I really think that default.css should only contain css related to the administration page. It should not have skin related css.

Can someone point in the way of some good documentation? This skinning tutorial it not a huge help.

www.dnncreative.com has a section on skinning. The styles in default.css only get applied if you havent overridden them in your skin.css. I agree it is sometimes a bit of a pain when your inheritance scheme doesn't work because of a class definition in default.css. Welcome to the DNN way of skinning ;)
