Yes, I'm new and trying to get my head around the dnn skinning solution.  I'm trying my hand at a custom .ascx skin and I keep seeing a CodeFile="~/admin/Skins/skin.vb" in the Control narative and understand that all .ascx skins use the same codebeside file.  However, I haven't read anywhere that the skin.vb file is suposed to be a phantom file but it appears to me, that in my case, it is.  Can anyone explain?  My dnn instance was created using the 4.4 starterkit and the "DotNetNuke Web Application Framework Template" within VS2005.  Is it possible that this template doesn't include the skin.vb file in it's zip?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's compiled into the Class Library portion of DotNetNuke.

If you have the source version you will find it in  Library/admin/Skins folder.
