I'm trying to make the search link "object" a form submit button. I've got the following in my skin.xml but the object remains a link and not a form submit button as desired.

Any ideas how to convert the search link into a regular form submit button?

I've been able to use an image but I'm really trying to cut down on images. My site is on a diet :)

<Token>[SEARCH]</Token>
            <Settings>
                <Setting>

                    <Value>Search</Value>
                </Setting>
                <Setting>

                    <Value>StandardButton</Value>
                </Setting>
                </Settings>

How about something like

  < Token>[SEARCH]</ Token>
  <Settings>
   <Setting>

    <Value>search</Value>
   </Setting>
   <Setting>

           <Value></Value>
         </Setting>

That works for image buttons, but I'd like to use a regular form submit button like you would get if you used:

It seems like the only choice is to use a link or an image button but not a regular form button.

I'll keep at it.

Regards,

Patrick

Hi,

My skin is defined as an ASCX control and not as an XML file. How can I use an image as the search button instead of the text link?

Thanks,
Nuno

Well I've tried quite a few things but nothing seems to work for using a regular form submit button.

Any ideas?
