I'm still looking, but I haven't found the right attribute to modify to specify the width of the root menu items.  I have a menubar that goes all the way across the page horizontally, and I want the menu items on it to spread out dynamically across the width.  So if there are five items, they would each take up 20% of the width.  So far, I haven't been able to keep them from just crowding to the left.

I think what I am looking for is the style for the TDs of the menubar, but it doesn't appear to be exposed.

I've tried specifying the width of menuitem, and while that does work on the submenu items, it doesn't effect the root items.  There is a menuitemrow that serves as the wrapper for both the root and submenu items, but width doesn't seem to be a property that it will accept.  (Don't think you can use width on a TR)

I'll stop here in case someone has an easy answer -- if not, then I can provide more info.

While waiting for the post to be approved, I found that MenuAlignment=center will distribute the items across the menu bar, but somewhat unevenly.  I'd prefer for the items to have the same width regardless of the amount of text in them...

I'm with you on this!  I am dealing with the same issue.  This is something that should be really simple, but I haven't found a solution to it either.  Let's hope that someone knows and will share it with us soon.
