OK i will try to make this short. My goal is to substitute the search text for the search token to an image. I was able to apply CSS to the search token and apply a background image, although the text "Search" overlapse my image, I was wondering if i can turn of the text or if there is another way of substituting the text for and image. Any help will be greatly appreaciated.

if your skin is HTML type then you need this in your skin.xml

Oh thx heaps mate, just a quick question if i wanted to alter it in the ".ascx" page how would i do that just so i know for future reference, rather than having to up load the skin all the time its easier to change the ascx page, thx

Ok the html shange for the search image is great but i really need to know how to acheive this through the .ascx file as i have various skins which i need to apply this change to, so if any one can answer my question of direct me to a place which will explain the process then it will be of greatly assistance
