Hi,

I want to rename the dnn-blue skin to 'Blue'. When I hit the button 'restore default skin' it should restore the new named Blue skin. In the database (table skins) there is no record, so i have not selected any prefered skin.

Where in the code/database (I dont assume DNN-BLUE is somewhere hardcoded in the source) can I find the configuration that, when no other default skin is selected, dnn must load the DNN-blue skin?

Thnx in advance

john

I do not recommend to make core changes - be aware, that they will be overwritten on every upgrade.

To change this in source code, download DNN source package, open the solution with VS2005 and perform a search for "DNN-blue". After you altered the name, you will need to recompile.

Good thing you didn't assume .

Sorry to say, it is hard-coded, along with several other Global constants.

Some will argue that since it is a constant, it is not hard-coding.  I disagree with that philosophy myself, but it is debatable.
