the nuke news module by orizonti is an example of a module that takes over a whole page when the full article is read. Is it possible to load the module in a normal skin that maintains the panes of the skin.

I have noticed the url it writes out is http://theportalname/News/tabid/110/mid/480/newsid480/2/Default.aspx

All modules that exibit this behaviour have "mid" in the url? is this a standard DNN thing or is it the module?

I have attached a screen shot of the behaviour to better understand the problem

The "mid" within the URL tells DNN to display only that module, and DNN does this using the Admin skin.  This action is controlled by the module code.
