hi,

i would like to design my left and right containers just like the picture in the left.

ie) the top design will be ok. i can specify my own desing by setting up the bg image of containerrow1 attribute in a container.css file.

but how about the "rounded corners" at the bottom of the containers? it seems like adding new row and split that into 3 columns, then specify the corresponding images as a bg.

but i could not find that which file i need to make change? css? or, do i need the source code file to accomblish this? now i am using non-source dotnetnuke  version.  i am really confused!
any help would be greately appreciated!

There are different ways to do this, but adding a new row is the right way to do it.

Give the TD's a class and add the background-image to the skin.css file or the css file that has the same name as the skin.

Please note that the paths to the images must be relative to the CSS files path.

Hope it's clear now...

Thank you very much for your quick reply.

here my doubt is, in which file i need to add new row? is that table defined in ascx file?
bcz  i 've searched all over my project. i could not find out any file related to this or i 've failed to locate!
do i need the source version of dotnetnule to achieve this?

     Thanks.

No you don't need the source version of DNN.

You have to edit the container that's located in the portals/_default/containers folder.

(every group of containers has it's own folder)

You can either edit the HTML file or the ascx file.

If you edit the HTML file you will have to "parse the skin" after each update (login as host > skins)

(DNN will "convert" the HTML file to an ASCX file and the ASCX file is the real container)
