Hi,

I have just about completed my shiny new DNN 4.5.1 site and all works wonderfully. However, I have a small problem with the Solpart menu. I am using a horizontal one at the top of the page. When a user clicks an item that has sub items, the sub menu appear directly under the main menu perfectly lined up and looking gorgeous . . . . .  in Firefox 2!

In Internet Explorer, however, this submenu appears half way up the main menu and to the left. It looks barely passable, but I want it to look like it does in Firefox. Any help with this would be great.

Many thanks

You'll need to post your menu css details...

SolPartMenu uses the css class .MainMenu_MenuItem to style both the root menu items AND the sub-menu items.  So, the sub-menu items are being padded to the location you see them in IE (and not in FireFox because it handles padding differently).

Without digging into the design, I would only recommend you look again and make sure you need that wild padding, then set the root menu items using .MainMenu_MenuItem and use the .MainMenu_SubMenu .MainMenu_MenuItem class to style your sub-menus.

Good luck
