Warning - CSS novice at work.  I am trying to apply a different link style within a text/HTML Module.  I cannot seem to get the style that I want to work, the link continues to pull the style from A:Link in the default.css.  I am specically trying to apply an underline and change the color.   I have tried creating my own class and apply that style to the link, but it still grabs the a:link style.  I have also tried moving my new class to different style sheets (skin, portal and default) but still no.  If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Normally overriding the definitions in skin.css should work, you shouldn't forget to hange a:link, a:hover and a:visited!

You can also override the default style selector by making the new one more specific.

You could reference a element that contains the text/html module like this (the contentpane in this case):

#dnn_ContentPane a:link{

color:#FF0000;

}

Or asign a class to the contentpane in your skin and use that.

Thanks for the help.  I added an ID selector for the link, and everything seems to work well, except the link:visited.  If I apply that style it takes over and my hover stops working.  I have it commented out for now, and it is working.  It is probably just my poor CSS skills to blame.  Thanks again.
