I created a skin with the width set to 70% and a container with the width set to 100%.  I have found that it does not display consistantly across the pages on my site.  On the main page where I only have a repository, the background color of the page is wrong and the width is more closer to 90%.  When I go to the login page, the background color is correct again and the width goes back to 70%.  I don't understand what the difference is because the skin should be the same for both pages.

Additionally, when I go to the File Manager, the width of the page goes well beyond 100%.  It seems that there is something forcing the page wider than it is defined to be.  Is there something that I am missing that should be accounted for?

Thanks,

Brent

Without an example it's difficult to answer.

Some of the DNN modules have HTML layout in them and they can force the skin to become wider then the 70% you assigned.

also,  tables will scale if the content gets wider, that could be another  the reason

I don't know if anyone will check this post any more, but here goes.  I have an example for this problem on the web now, http://www.spottedfox.com.  The width scale issue that I am seeing now is only a problem with IE, Firefox displays correctly.  Furthermore, it looks fine when I view the same page as a logged in user, with the control panel showing.  Any thoughts?
