Hi,

I am trying to use a .gif for the menu background on a skin that started out as the default Blue-DNN skin. It is an animated .gif, if that makes a difference.

Here is my css:

.skingradient

  {background-image: url(ocean.gif); height: auto

Here is the HTML:

<table class="skingradient" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" width="100%" border="0">
        <tr>
            <td width="100%" valign="middle" align="left" nowrap style="height: auto" bgcolor="">
                [MENU]</td>
            <td class="skingradient" valign="middle" align="right" nowrap style="height: auto"
                bgcolor="">
                [SEARCH][LANGUAGE]</td>
        </tr>
    </table>

The ocean.gif file is locared in the root of the portal.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Relative image URL's referenced in stylesheets are always relative to the location of the stylesheet, and not the page. Move ocean.gif to the same folder where your CSS file is located and it should work.

Bingo! Thanks, the css file was in the skin file - I had the gif in the portal root.
