Hey DotnetNukers,

What solution would you recommend? Have a home page and I’m putting borders around the class .leftpane, rightpane and contentpane. For the rest of the pages I don’t want the borders on the classes (only the home page). How would you tackle this?

Kindest Regards,

~Mark

I would use one skin for the home page and another skin for the remaining pages.

Hi Ecktwo,

I guess that is the EZ way to do it. I was trying to just keep it wrapped into one skin. Thinking more of the code level, like JavaScript and CSS.

Thanks for the response.

Kindest Regards,

~Mark

Use the same skin template on all pages, then login as an administrator and go to the settings for the Home page. Under Advanced Settings > Appearance, there is a field named "Page Header Tags." Enter the styles specific to the Home page in this field within a <style> .... </style> block.

The style block will be injected into the page header *after* the skin stylesheet references, thus overriding or adding the style attributes specified in this field. This will allow you to add the border attributes which will only be displayed on the Home page while the rest of the site will use the skin stylesheet as defined.
