Firstly, I have no idea what I am doing skinning wise but figured how hard could it be to change the background color. I created 2 container skins where the ONLY thing different is the background color code. So here is what I did.

1.  copied the dnn-blue container skin to the correct directory in my portal.  I made 2 copies.  One is called pink and the other light blue.

2.  I edited the container.css line "background-color: #A1CAE5" for the light blue and background-color: #F8C1CA for the pink.

3.  I can apply either container to all 3 modules on the home page. BUT if 1 of the 3 is a container then ALL the background colors change.

Why can't I change the skin of just one module ?  What did I do wrong ?

Please help the feeble minded.

Well, the problem here is you need to use different css class names.  The last one applied to the page is the one that is going to show.
