Hello,

I'm new to DNN. I'm wondering if it's possible to adjust DNN 4.x so that it looks exactly as my portal: www.euroadres.pl

This portal is based on ASP.NET 2.0 with JS scripts. The standard DNN skin is very different form what I actually need. How can I adjust DNN to look like this (the content on my portal are created dinamically in 80%). Can anybody advise me how to perform the adapting works? What should I read before and so on.

There are several subpages like: http://www.zdrowie-uroda.com.pl/ but I hope that if I tackle to adjust my home page portal to DNN I will manage to adjust the others.

Thank you for any piece of advice.

Darek

You can create a skin in DotNetNuke to get the desired effects.

I would have a look at some of the undelying skin designs for the core items and if you experiement a bit you should be able to move your existing design to a DNN compatiable skin failry easily.

Thank you,

Can you provide me with a couple of link where I could get to know how to make the desired customization of skin?

I have special areas on my home page where i.e. I have a small form to fill in key words and in code behind I have mechanism which pass this form as parameters to my search engine and on onother page I have results of search (the results is from a database which contains addresses of companies). Is it possible to mix normal DNN modules with my code and special areas without need to build costom modules (all my code behind is in C#).

Best Regards

Darek T.

Start with the skinning guide:

Also look at dnncreative.com and skincovered.com.
