hallo the people,

I'm very new to DNN and trying to understand how it works. The problem I have is how to change the CssClass of the tokens I add in the template. The situation is:

-I add the [COPYRIGHT] token in my html template.
- then I add into the skin.xml file a new object and in the setting I specify that name=CssClass and value=copyright
- in the skin.css I write all my styles

but... when I load the page not all my css are applied. If I look at the HTML source I see that the copyright is rendered into a span and the class attribut is "skinobject" and not copyright, as I specified in the xml file.

does anyone see a mistake in this procedure?

thanks for helping

Can we see what exactly you put in Skin.xml

it should be something like

 < Object>
  < Token>[COPYRIGHT]</Token>
  < Settings>
   < Setting>
    < Name>CssClass</Name>
    < Value>dnnFooter</Value>
   < /Setting>
  < /Settings>
 < /  Object>

thanks Salaro,

here is the code I use in the skin.xml file:

<object>
    <token>[COPYRIGHT]</token>
      <settings>
        <setting>
          <name>CssClass</name>
          <value>copyright_footer</value>
        </setting>
     </settings>
</object>

It is very similar to the one you wrote.... could it be that this file is case sensitive?
