Hello!

I just got DNN 4.0.2 up and running and now  would like to prettify it. I found a skin I really like from the 2004 Skinning Contest (Brass Knuckles, owned by Chris Paterra) but while the upload of the skin seems to work fine, I don't see it presented as an option in the skin selection interface.

I assume this is a problem of backwards compatability? If so, are there any plans to make any of these skins compatible with 4.x?

Thanks for you time!

Cheers,
Jonah Simpson

where did you place the skin file?

the documentation included with dnn is to take the skin's .zip file (do NOT unpack the .zip) and place it into the skins directory located in the install directory of your dnn installation. once there, browse to http://www.your-site.com/install/install.aspx?mode=InstallResources to have dnn automagically place everything appropriately and update your selections within the dnn administration.

sorry if that seems confusing. hope it was of help.

I seem to be having the same problem, and no its not the zip error that was mentioned here. Skins and containers that previosly worked perfectly for versions 3.1 now dont work for 3.22. after installing the skin / container it isnt visible in the selection area.
